The restored house, dating back to 1741, and grounds are now available for corporate events, ceremonies and private parties. The restored house at Cary Hill reflects a succession of the owners and their love of history and art. The ballroom has been used for entertaining for almost three centuries. The original iron fireplace back, dated 1741, is still in place. The warming closet, from which refreshments would have been served, including wine warmed in the fireplace chimney nook, continues to be used for parties and gatherings today. Gracious grounds include a deep swimming pool with an expansive bluestone slate surround, making it perfect for outdoor celebrations. In addition to the historical home and grounds, there is also a quaint cottage available to include in event packages or the perfect weekend retreat located on the 60-acre estate. Open by appointment only.
